Dr. Nathan Schanuth, D.C.

Dr. Nate Schanuth was born and raised in Council Bluffs. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 2007, where he competed in powerlifting and football. After graduation, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Midland University in Fremont, Nebraska. He planned on going to dental school after college, but discovered chiropractic — after researching the field and visiting several chiropractic schools, he received his first adjustment. After that, he knew he was being called to become a chiropractor and help as many people as possible through chiropractic care.

Dr. Nate attended Cleveland Chiropractic College in Overland Park, Kansas. During his four years of chiropractic school, he married Chantel, who is now the manager of the office. He also proudly completed a rotation at the Kansas City VA clinic, serving our veterans through chiropractic care. After graduating Magna Cum Laude and with Pi Tau Delta honors, Dr. Nate and Chantel moved back to Council Bluffs and opened Schanuth Family Chiropractic in September of 2017.

Dr. Nate is an active member of the Iowa Chiropractic Society, the American Chiropractic Association, and the Council Bluffs Area Chamber of Commerce. Dedicated to wellness, he believes optimal health and longevity stem from a properly functioning nervous system. Outside of the clinic, he loves riding motorcycles and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs with his wife and their two sons.
